Following your passion can be challenging if you're not really sure what said passion is. Taking some time for self-discovery can help you hone in on what lights up your world and get you on the road to developing your passion. In addition to the classic Myers Briggs analysis, here are some resources for taking a deeper dive into understanding what makes you tick.

1

Know Your Strengths

While it may not be the first time you have heard this phrase, knowing your strengths might still be on your to do list. Consider taking the CliftonStrengths assessment to tap into your innate talents and then learn how they can help you succeed in your current role and open you up to new possibilities.
2

Understand Your Tendencies

We each react to inner and outer expectations in our own way. To become more conscious of how and why you react the way you do, try this free quiz by Gretchen Rubin (author of The Happiness Project). Based on your personal tendencies you can start to explore how to make better decisions, meet deadlines, create positive habits and reduce stress.
3

Discover Your Love Languages

Everyone likes to feel appreciated, but there are different ways to show that appreciation -- five categories, actually. Generally, the way you feel appreciated is how you show appreciation to others, even if that is the not how they feel appreciated and vice versa. Take this free quiz to uncover how the five love languages rank for you (and have your friends/family/co-workers take it too). These insights are helpful for both personal and professional relationships.
Note: This list of resources is a small sampling (and a work-in-progress!), if you'd like us to add one that you have benefited from, please email us at [email protected]!
